Final PDF Quality Checklist Before You Send or Upload

A concise review process for page order, readability, file size, privacy and compatibility.

Written by Pageivo Editorial TeamReviewed August 31, 2026

Structure

Confirm the expected page count, page order and orientation. Check that no blank, duplicate or missing page remains after merging or scanning.

If page numbers are visible, make sure they match the intended sequence and do not collide with existing content.

Quality and function

Open the PDF in a common reader and inspect small text, images and signatures. If the file was compressed, confirm that readability and any required text selection or links still work.

Check the final file size against the receiving system's requirements rather than assuming the upload will accept it.

Privacy and delivery

Review visible sensitive information, common metadata and the filename. Apply password protection when appropriate and verify the recipient or upload destination.

Keep the reviewed source and final copy until the transaction or submission has been confirmed.
