Why image privacy matters
Photos used for documents can contain identity cards, invoices, handwritten notes, signatures or private screenshots. Sending them to a conversion server adds another system that temporarily handles those files.
Local browser conversion can create the PDF on the device instead, avoiding an upload step for the conversion itself.
Prepare consistent source images
Rotate photos correctly and remove obvious duplicates before selecting them. Mixed portrait and landscape images can still be placed into one PDF, but checking orientation first improves the reading experience.
If image resolution is extremely high, the final PDF can become large. Consider using appropriately sized source photos rather than repeatedly compressing the result later.
Understand what conversion does not do
Turning a photo into a PDF does not automatically perform OCR, correct perspective, redact sensitive details or validate that the document is acceptable to a receiving organization.
Review the output exactly as a recipient will see it and verify the submission requirements before sending it.
